XD series extended communication ED modules are mainly used to expand RS232 or RS485 communication ports. It can be used for expansion on the left side of XD series PLC, but only one of RS232 and RS485 can be used for communication. Thin design, takes up little space. XD series PLC can generally be expanded by 1 ED module.
